  as an ex-jw its sometimes difficult to provide neutral information on jehovahs witnesses and the watchtower society.

  on the internet there is a bulk of information available provided by former members and religious organizations that are anti-jw.

  on my site i have also many articles that are critical towards the jws.

  As an ex-JW it’s sometimes difficult to provide neutral information on Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Watchtower Society. On the internet there is a bulk of information available provided by former members and religious organizations that are anti-JW.

  On my site I have also many articles that are critical towards the JW’s. Information that is useful for Scientific Researchers and Students is hard to find. That’s why I have added a new Category: ***Scientific Research***

  In this category you’ll find articles that have been written by Scientific Researchers like Social Scientists and Scholars of Religious Studies. It includes also an Bibliography with an exhaustive list of Publications on Jehovah's Witnesses written by Social Scientists, Scholars of Religious Studies, Physicians and (ex-) Jehovah's Witnesses.

  hey everybody, i'm a christian, but i'm not a jehovah's witness and i recently made friends with one, i know little to nothing about this religion and i would like to know more, can anyone help me out by way of how it is different from say, an evangelical free christian church?

  and what sort of theology and doctrine jw's go by and such, i'd really appreciate it, thank you

  On my site you’ll find a lot of general info on JW’s. For a ‘Christian touch’ you can browse the link-section where you’ll find a lot of sites that are run by Christian webmasters.

  My visit to WT official site

  englishman has a thread about the generation idea and the apostates - most interesting.

  after reading this, it occured to me it would be interesting to go to the official watchtower internet site and use there search function on different words and see what they had to say.

  here is what i found out.. first of all, they do not show complete articles.

  Sorry that I gave that impression. I must confess that it is not the most serious and in-depth article you can find on my site. My intention is to provide serious and balanced information about the WTS and JW’s, not to make my website as sensational as possible, and not at all to harm people like you who are still inside the Org.
  I started this thread again because Kent wrote that he wouldn’t publish such log-files as I did. That surprised me a little because he is known for publishing articles that are most times (with all respect for him and his hard work –this is not critique but an observation) written in plain language while I am more moderate in my expressions. After reading his comments I asked myself: Is it ethical to publish log files like I have done to disclose the Watchtower’s tactics?

  As many of you on this board already have read, the WTS has visited Watchtower Information Service several times (see http://www.watchtowerinformationservice.org/ for screenshots of the log files that proof the WTS’ visits apostate websites).

  Kent made the following remark: “…But - this person just COULD be someone inside being curious, someone that could be our helper in the next run - and when we blow the whistle like this - the security department will know exactly what logs to check out. … On the other hand - there are ways and workarounds - and I for one wouldn't publish such logs. …”

  I understand his concerns, although I am almost sure the brothers who visited Watchtower Information Service were from a ‘special task force’.

  My question is: Do you think it is unethical to publish log files like I have done to disclose the Watchtower’s tactics?

  I will look at the German website. Although my German isn’t perfect either, I am able to translate German into English.

  I have limited time to write/translate articles. So it will take a while until I am finished.

  Norm & little Toe,

  Last year the Dutch Branch didn’t even have internet access! I don’t know how the situation is in other Branches. Selters Germany has internet access as far as I know.
